AI built into iPad: smart technology at your fingertips.
Artificial intelligence is not a distant future — it’s already here, at the heart of how the iPad is used. Without installing a single app, teachers and students have access to powerful built-in AI tools right on their device, transforming everyday teaching practices in meaningful ways.
This session explores the iPad not as a simple digital tool, but as an intelligent partner that can support teachers with differentiation, content adaptation, remediation, and accessibility for every type of learner. With native features like Live Text, smart dictation, image recognition, automatic document scanning, or handwritten equation solving, the iPad becomes a mobile laboratory for pedagogical experimentation.
How can these features be integrated into active, creative, and inclusive teaching approaches? In what responsible ways can they foster students’ autonomy and critical thinking?
Through concrete demonstrations, this conference will showcase the full potential of AI built into the iPad to enrich teaching without adding complexity — and will reveal how to leverage embedded intelligence… without ever giving up human intelligence.

AI in Support of Writing : the Student as Author.
In the age of digital technology and artificial intelligence, writing is evolving… but it isn’t disappearing. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. This session aims to restore the central role of the student as author, by exploring how digital tools — and iPads in particular — can strengthen writing skills rather than bypass them.
The goal is not to copy and paste AI-generated text, but to revalue every stage of the writing process: planning, drafting, revising… Far from distancing students from writing, AI can bring them back to it by helping them formulate ideas, structure their thoughts, check grammar, and practice rereading.
With the Écrivor solution, featured in this session, you’ll discover how to multiply interactions with text by a factor of ten, train essential automatisms (organization, rereading, following instructions), and create active learning loops between the student, their writing… and their tools.
Through concrete examples, this talk will offer pedagogical strategies for integrating AI ethically and effectively into the teaching of writing — without ever sacrificing student reflection or creativity.
Écrivor was created by teachers in collaboration with several researchers and is supported by the French Ministry of Education through the Edu’up program.

Supervision and Digital Trust with Jamf — in Class and at Home.
How can schools ensure continuity, security, and responsible use of devices when learning extends beyond the classroom ?
This session will explore how Jamf enables schools to supervise and manage iPads both at school and at home, while building digital trust with families and educators. Through concrete use cases, we’ll look at how to balance control and autonomy, secure student data, apply usage rules remotely, and support learning without intrusive oversight.
The conference will also address the challenges of device sharing, access management, and safeguarding minors in increasingly hybrid learning environments.

Digital Learning: Cognitive Reality or Technological Mirage ?
Learning tools and techniques evolve alongside the generations of students who move through our classrooms.
For several years now, digital tools have become part of students’ working environment—both at school and at home. However, the massive use of screens by young people and the recent rise of AI-powered “3.0” tools raise questions and concerns. How can we separate fact from fiction in what we read in the media or hear in the teachers’ lounge? Should digital learning tools be banned—or should we use them to teach and learn more effectively ?
This conference invites you to explore the so-called “technological revolution” in teaching tools. Through a scientific lens and based on recent research on the brain, we will examine the real impact of digital tools on student learning and explore how our teaching practices can evolve to better support student success.
