AI built into iPad: smart technology at your fingertips.

Organized by C&C

Artificial intelligence is not a distant future — it’s already here, at the heart of how the iPad is used. Without installing a single app, teachers and students have access to powerful built-in AI tools right on their device, transforming everyday teaching practices in meaningful ways.

This session explores the iPad not as a simple digital tool, but as an intelligent partner that can support teachers with differentiation, content adaptation, remediation, and accessibility for every type of learner. With native features like Live Text, smart dictation, image recognition, automatic document scanning, or handwritten equation solving, the iPad becomes a mobile laboratory for pedagogical experimentation.

How can these features be integrated into active, creative, and inclusive teaching approaches? In what responsible ways can they foster students’ autonomy and critical thinking?

Through concrete demonstrations, this conference will showcase the full potential of AI built into the iPad to enrich teaching without adding complexity — and will reveal how to leverage embedded intelligence… without ever giving up human intelligence.

PRONOTE and artificial intelligence: balancing innovation, responsibility and ethics in school life

Organized by DOCAPOSTE

At a time when artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming our habits, the publication of the prospectus on AI and school life opens up an essential reflection on the future of school life. This document highlights the strategic role that AI can play in supporting school leaders in their tasks of steering, managing and coordinating between families, schools and local authorities.

In this context, this conference dedicated to the integration of AI into PRONOTE offers a cross-disciplinary perspective on three fundamental pillars: innovation, responsibility and ethics.

For more than 30 years, Index Éducation – a subsidiary of Docaposte – has been designing professional tools in collaboration with stakeholders in the field. Today, school data is becoming a powerful lever for enriching the uses of AI, while ensuring respectful and secure practices. This technological evolution is part of a trust-based approach, supported by an ethics committee created in 2023, which ensures the integrity of uses and the sovereignty of solutions. Together, these reflections invite us to build the necessary balances for a digital transformation that will make schools more fluid, responsive and inclusive.

Digital technology and synchronous training: foes or allies?

Organized by FRELLO x LÉO LAGRANGE FORMATION

In a context where training needs are booming while budgets are tightening, pedagogical innovation is becoming an essential driver of change. Far from sidelining trainers, digital technology is emerging as a strategic ally to strengthen their work. By leveraging digital tools and artificial intelligence, it enriches teaching practices through enhanced interactivity, personalized monitoring, and administrative time savings enabled by automated reporting. Digital technology doesn’t distance trainers, it empowers them.

Face-to-face and digital learning mutually reinforce each other, giving rise to hybrid models in which human support is amplified by well-designed digital resources. This synergy opens the way to more effective and inclusive learning experiences, while ensuring better cost control.

During this conference, Frello, a digital learning platform, and Léo Lagrange Formation, a training organization, will share a concrete case study illustrating how digital technology and the central role of trainers can together enhance the effectiveness of synchronous training.

The Student, the Teacher and AI: A Three-Voice Intelligence.

Organized by C&C

The arrival of AI in our classrooms deeply challenges the way we teach and the way young people learn.

How can we enable students to make the most of these new tools without giving up their critical thinking or intellectual autonomy?

This session aims to explore AI as an opportunity for co-constructing knowledge. Far from replacing personal reflection, AI can actually help young people learn and remember better by offering tailored explanations, reformulations, or differentiated exercises. But they must first be given the keys to use it critically and thoughtfully.

Through a few examples drawn from a teacher’s daily practice, this session will offer avenues for combining human and artificial intelligences, and for guiding students in developing their ability to think and analyze in the age of AI.

Digital Learning: Cognitive Reality or Technological Mirage ?

Organized by C&C

Learning tools and techniques evolve alongside the generations of students who move through our classrooms.

For several years now, digital tools have become part of students’ working environment—both at school and at home. However, the massive use of screens by young people and the recent rise of AI-powered “3.0” tools raise questions and concerns. How can we separate fact from fiction in what we read in the media or hear in the teachers’ lounge? Should digital learning tools be banned—or should we use them to teach and learn more effectively ?

This conference invites you to explore the so-called “technological revolution” in teaching tools. Through a scientific lens and based on recent research on the brain, we will examine the real impact of digital tools on student learning and explore how our teaching practices can evolve to better support student success.

Learning to think in the age of AI: an educational emergency

Organized by COURSERA

ChatGPT writes, Copilot codes, Gemini analyzes… but what about our students? Can they still think for themselves?
As artificial intelligence makes its way into classrooms, training programs, and public policy, a paradox emerges: the more technologically empowered we become, the more we risk losing our intellectual autonomy. This session explores a crucial question for today’s education systems: how can we train a generation to use AI without outsourcing its thinking?

Through concrete examples from academia and the workplace, this talk will examine the new balance between technology and reflection, automation and critical thinking. It’s an inspiring session for educators, policymakers, and trainers who want to make AI not a substitute for human thought, but a catalyst for collective intelligence and discernment.

Why attend this session?
  • To understand how AI is reshaping our cognitive and learning capacities.

  • To explore practical and ethical ways to integrate AI into education.

  • To engage in a collective reflection on the place of human thought in an algorithmic world.

  • To leave with actionable ideas to foster independent, critical, and responsible thinkers.

Artificial Intelligence: The Challenge of Student Intelligence

Organized by CAFE PEDAGOGIQUE

Back to school 2025: Artificial Intelligence is already here. Will cheating become more widespread in 21st-century schools? The simplicity, efficiency, and undetectability of AI make copying and pasting so easy that many students have been gripped by a feeling of omnipotence, and many colleagues by a sense of helplessness. When faced with AI, shouldn't we choose reason over fascination or fear, confrontation with reality over grand speeches, and pedagogy over inaction? Because if AI is perceived as a potential enterprise for the demolition of schools, particularly traditional assessment methods, then we must consider reconstruction. The Café pédagogique roundtable brings together teachers working to ensure that schools in the age of AI continually increase students' ability to discover, write, reflect, create, and share...
