According to the 2022 Ev@lang placement tests, more than 50% of students tested at age 15 before going on to high school had not reached an A2-level in their first foreign language. With this in mind, we developed the YES digital platform. It is organised by communicative language activity, and allows students to acquire reception and production strategies very progressively and based on a great variety of documents. Teachers are provided with a range of tools in order to assign work pathways to students and follow their progress.

The Ecole du Louvre and Edunao will discuss AI generating images on Moodle in the learning of description in art history. Through examples of pedagogical activities, we will explore how generative AI can support the learning of description.

In France, more than 1 million students have dyslexia, a reading disorder that can hinder learning and lead to school exclusion. Faced with this reality, there are innovative solutions to support these students while facilitating the work of those supporting them (teachers, AESH, parents, etc.). During the workshop, we will dive into the world of MYdys, an innovative application that allows you to read and listen to all types of texts, on the go, from a simple photo or an imported course. We will explore together how this digital tool can transform the daily lives of dyslexic students and their caregivers committed to educational success.

The ''Notre école faisons là ensemble''(NEFLE) system is a program that provides access to educational innovation funds. This approach is aimed at all educational establishments: schools, middle schools, high schools and makes it possible to support projects that are as close as possible to the needs of students.

Generative artificial intelligence is transforming our relationship with digital tools and creative processes. But it is also a source of progress and hope, especially in terms of inclusion. Harnessing the power of video games to educate, anticipate deviant behaviours, combat school dropout rates, and improve the school environment - these are the initial results observed through e-sports workshops implemented in several middle schools in the Versailles Academy school region.  
Studies examine the effects of video games and their impact on the development of transferable skills. This innovative approach is funded in 20 middle and high schools in the Versailles Academy school region, from this September onwards. It is a collaborative effort involving the various partners and the academic community.

ENEJ is a set of digital services offered to students, parents and members of the secondary education community. A complete territorial and scalable service center, ENEJ has been co-built with communities and designed to meet the users' needs.

As a modular solution, ENEJ is based on PRONOTE, school life management software serving more than 18 million users, and is structured around 3 main pillars:

- Management of establishments with School Life: guaranteeing educational continuity with the PRONOTE suite;

- Pedagogy: providing school directors with new educational tools and resources, including digital common goods;

- Services to families: enabling the community to promote and manage its family/youth policy through targeted measures. More than 2 million Youth Passes are managed on a daily by Docaposte to allow young people to access sport or cultural activities thanks to aid granted by the community.

Vienne, the first Department of France to set up the Digital Space for Education and Youth (ENEJ)

The ENEJ deployed in Vienne is aimed at nearly 46,000 people (around 10% of the population of Vienne): students, parents (legal representatives), teachers, directors of public middle schools, agents and elected officials of the department of Vienne.

From this information system which is the basis of Vienna's digital educational service, each member of the public and private educational community has a personalized space to access, according to their profile, information, a merged timetable, secure messaging, and a range of services: Educational tools and resources, Family services, Continuing training, Data.

Deployed in all public middle schools in the department since September 2023, ENEJ is a solution financed by the Vienne department and developed by Docaposte, a subsidiary of the La Poste Group. It meets with the requirements of the Master Plan for Digital Workspaces (SDET) of the Ministry of National Education and Youth. ENEJ provides new services such as a territorial internship search platform for 9th grade students, ensuring better equal opportunities between children, or the provision of departmental resources with "Lire en Vienne Collèges".

With AI, the potential for modeling training courses expands, offering greater flexibility to create variations in pedagogical approaches and opening up new perspectives for distance learning. The Cned's Research and Development approach undertakes various AI projects with experimental approaches aimed at creating innovative solutions to enhance the quality of teaching. At the heart of these initiatives, Data plays a crucial role in the success of the solutions developed to improve the learning process.
In addition to specific AI development directly related to the Cned's activity, the common use of ChatGPT raises questions about the supervision of its use by students, especially during assessments. As a public operator in distance learning, the Cned is taking into account the integration of ChatGPT into uses, in order to structure an organization adapted to this evolution, while remaining compliant with regulatory requirements.

How can we enable teachers to navigate the proliferation of generative AI? What assistance does generative AI provide for preparing a course or assessment? How does AI challenge the notion of evaluation and teaching practices? How do they make it possible to move from the student being evaluated to the student evaluator?

Many questions will be addressed with answers from the speakers but also with those from Chat GPT.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing many fields, and education is no exception. More and more teachers are integrating AI into their teaching.
During this conference, we will focus on the challenges of AI in education. In particular, we will present the opportunities and challenges represented by generative AI such as Chat GPT or Midjourney based on practical cases. Case study with the Éléa platform of the Ministry of Education and Youth by Rémi LEFEUVRE Project Manager e-learning platforms - Presentations of technical and functional innovations.

The innovation laboratory aims to support the transformation of schools by exploring and experimenting with new approaches, methods and educational technologies to improve teaching and learning. It enables innovative solutions to be developed and equitable teaching to be offered by responding to local needs, so that all pupils can succeed. It is a training, innovation and research service at the crossroads of the players in the digital education ecosystem.

What specific implementations does the generalization of the skills-based approach require in a training establishment, and how can digital innovations support and streamline the various workstreams?

Digital educational resources are playing an increasingly important role in teachers' approaches to teaching. We will present the system deployed and financed by the Île-de-France Region : What are the challenges ? What kind of resources catalog ? What is the communication strategy ? What are the evaluation criteria ?

In this conference, we will see how to engage in discussions with children about responsible digital technology, preventing cyberbullying and promoting healthy online communication.

This conference, jointly organised by the Council of Europe's Education Department, CNIL’s experts in Digital Citizenship Education and the MENJ, introduces the Guidelines to support equitable partnerships between education institutions and the private sector, highlighting examples of concrete commitments. The Conference will focus on two key objectives: promoting a structured dialogue between all stakeholders in education and introducing initiatives demonstrating support for the Guidelines, and principles of digital citizenship education in these public-private partnerships in the light of the Council of Europe's work. The French Ministry of Education and Youth (MENJ), academic authorities, the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) , and EdTech will present innovative sense-making practices during the conference.

Many works have already demonstrated the positive impact on learning of feedback in computer environments for human learning (EIAH). Beyond the learner's cognition, feedback can also impact their emotional state, their motivation or metacognitive aspects such as their sense of self-efficacy.
Through examples and feedback, we will highlight that the rise in power of generative AI is a real playground for writing feedback that is elaborate and personalized to the state of the learner on a cognitive level, metacognitive and emotional.

Today, digital isn't yet a reality in classes because of the lack of equipment. However, the majority of students do have a powerful device : their smartphones. That's the reason why teachers start allowing students to use their mobile phones in class to work, at the risk of losing their attention.

Join ModCo for a presentation of our platform that offers a secure environment in classe where smartphones can be used as powerful tools to learn. We will be sharing some best practices from teachers who have decided to deploy ModCo in their class.

Neuroeducation: an educational science combining neuroscience and education. Neuroeducation is a real resource for learning, helping students to learn how to learn. Understanding how the brain works (and therefore how students' brains work) not only enables us to make better use of it, but also to find ways of remedying its malfunctions.

 
Universally, the brain has an incredible capacity for memorization. But we need to understand why we forget, and how we memorize, in the long term. We also need to understand why some students have difficulty learning, and what can help them integrate their learning more easily.

Trained as a remedial teacher, I like to pass on what I've learned, to support all those involved in education. On this occasion, I'll be presenting the Eleph'Ant pedagogical tool, designed with the help of teachers, which enables you to install a daily ritual in your classrooms. The challenge is enormous: to remedy disparities in level while boosting your pupils' self-confidence. Let's talk about it.
